Wild Ginger
Northwest native perennial with evergreen heart-shaped leaves that slowly form a dense groundcover, ginger-scented when crushed. Grows best in moist, well-drained soils in open woodlands but drought tolerant once established. Unique 3-lobed flowers form beneath the foliage. (Groundcover)
