Lacy dark purple foliage makes a striking contrast to white bottlebrush flowers that appear in late summer. Flowers carry an exotic fragrance of grape and jasmine. Full shade works for Cimicifuga, but some sun for a part of the day will develop a darker leaf color. (Perennial)
