Mexican Sage
Salvia mexicana 'Limelight'
Description
Code: 8589Family: LamiaceaeGenus: Salvia
Plant Type:Shrub
This salvia is absolutely electrifying. Very tall spikes emerge with bright neon green calyxes along densely packed panicles which later produce tomentose, indigo buds that develop into long, tubular, blue-violet blooms. It is a spectacle in the garden when fully formed because of it's size, form, and incredible color combination. An excellent stand alone specimen for any cottage garden or butterfly garden.
